Earth Friendly Cleaning Products 
♦ Did you know ordinary household cleaners can be damaging to the environment after they go down your drain?
♦ You can create a healthier environment inside and outside of your home by making your own earth friendly cleaning products. Make your own cleaning products.
♦ One way to reduce your waste at home is by composting your food waste. There are two methods of composting, traditional backyard composting and worm composting.

♦ Grasscycling is very beneficial for your lawn, you should try it!
· It saves time.
· It reduces the amount of material in your greenwaste collection container.
· It puts nutrients back in the ground for a healthier lawn.
· It protects your lawn from sun damage.

♦ Conserving energy saves valuable resources from being wasted. Help be the solution, try accomplishing at least one of the following tips every day.
· Keep your oven and burners clean and the kitchen well ventilated. A clean oven uses energy more efficiently.
· Run your dishwasher after 7:00 pm during off-peak hours. Wash only full loads and use the shortest possible cycle.
· Unplug your appliances (i.e., coffee makers, toasters, or blenders) during the day when they are not in use.
· During the summer shut blinds during the day when you are not home and during the winter shut blinds at night to conserve heat.
· Line-dry clothes whenever possible. This can save up to 5% of your energy costs.
· Turn off lights when you leave the room, try to use natural lighting whenever possible.
· Turn off all equipment every night because it will continue to draw a small amount of power — especially monitors and printers. Monitors usually consume twice the electricity as CPUs.
· Reduce the amount of water used by turning the water faucet off while shaving or brushing your teeth, you can save up to a gallon of water per time.
· Try biking or riding public transportation whenever feasible.
